Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a-Export Airfreight Operator to join their office in Feltham.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage export shipments from booking through to final delivery
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and updates
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and overseas agents
• Ensure all export documentation and invoicing is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Track shipments and proactively provide status updates to clients
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet operational deadlines and service expectations
• Maintain accurate records and support operational reporting requirements
• Manage financial aspects of shipments, ensuring costs, charges, and invoicing are accurate and aligned to maintain profitability

About the candidate

• Some previous experience within export coordination or a logistics environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shipments in a fast-paced setting
• Strong organisational skills with solid basic maths ability to ensure processes are followed and financial elements are understood
• Ability to manage and check financial data to ensure accuracy and support overall profitability
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
