Job description:

Shuttering Carpenter required for a Industrial project. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Shuttering Carpenter to assist our client with a project based in Brighton, East Sussex. Own transport and tools required.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager
• Builds temporary wooden or steel molds to shape poured concrete for structures like walls, foundations, slabs, & columns
• Setting up steel rebar within the formwork before the concrete is poured
• Interpreting construction drawings to ensure the mold matches the required dimensions & shapes

Requirements for the role

• A valid CSCS card- Blue CSCS Card Preference
• Previous Shuttering Carpentry experience
• References upon request
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.

Training/Progression opportunities:

- There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
