We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead on the development and delivery of the Hospital 2.0 Alliance and the New Hospital Programme (NHP) Partnering Agreements.You will have a strong track record of working on large-scale transformation programmes in healthcare or similarly complex environments. Acting as subject matter expertise across key areas of the NHS ecosystem, project delivery and the objectives of the New Hospital Programme.The NHS England board have set out the top-level purpose for the new organisation to lead the NHS in England to deliver high-quality services for all, which will inform the detailed design work and we will achieve this purpose by:Enabling local systems and providers to improve the health of their people and patients and reduce health inequalities.Making the NHS a great place to work, where our people can make a difference and achieve their potential.Working collaboratively to ensure our healthcare workforce has the right knowledge, skills, values and behaviours to deliver accessible, compassionate careOptimising the use of digital technology, research, and innovationColleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.This transfer gathers valuable information from a previous or current NHS employer to support the onboarding process, including; statutory and mandatory competency status, Continuous Service Dates (CSD), and annual leave entitlement. By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that NHS England is currently undergoing a consultation process to finalise its structure, which may impact this role.Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional developmentDemonstrated experience working across the NHS system including Trusts, Regions and ICBs as well as their Local Health EconomiesSubject matter expertise across a number of key areas relating to the NHS Ecosystem, project delivery, New Hospital Programme and its outcomes, influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex environments.Experience of leading the development of briefing papers and correspondence at executive levelUnderstanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this on engagement
