Key Responsibilities Lesson Planning and Delivery: Design and teach a broad, balanced, and engaging PE curriculum, which can include a wide range of sports and activities like netball, football, athletics, dance, and fitness training.Student Motivation and Development: Inspire and motivate students of all abilities to participate and develop their potential, focusing on physical, emotional, and social skills. This includes fostering positive body confidence and an understanding of the link between physical activity and mental well-being.Assessment and Tracking: Set and mark assignments, assess and evaluate students'' physical abilities and progress, and update school records.Extracurricular Activities: Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, events, and inter-school matches.Mentoring and Support: Serve as a form tutor or mentor, providing a supportive point of contact and contributing to the wider school community and student welfare.Collaboration and Professional Development: Work with colleagues, participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development activities to stay updated with best practices and the latest in sports science and pedagogy.
