Position:Head of Commercial Strategy – High-Growth Functional Drinks and Supplements Brand
Location:
London (Hybrid) – 1–2 office days per fortnight, with occasional UK and international travel

We’re working on behalf of a high-growth business operating in the sports, nutrition, drinks, and supplements space that has quickly gained traction across DTC and Amazon, with exciting plans now underway to expand into retail and wholesale. Head of Commercial Strategy
to bring structure and clarity to their commercial decision-making across channels. You’ll work closely with the Sales Director and leadership team to ensure every commercial lever—from pricing and margin to promo planning and forecasting—is optimised for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Build out commercial reporting and insights across all sales channels—DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and emerging retail partnershipsMaintain detailed PandL modelling at SKU and channel level, ensuring visibility of true margin after fees, promotions, and fulfilmentMonitor promotional activity and assess return on investment across digital and retail channelsAnalyse the performance of subscription models, identifying ways to increase customer retention and lifetime valueLead commercial planning processes, aligning sales forecasts with stock availability and production timelinesPartner with the Sales Director to evaluate retail and wholesale deals, trade terms, and customer growth plansWork cross-functionally to ensure cash flow and purchasing decisions are guided by commercial performanceDeliver regular reports and insights to senior stakeholders, highlighting commercial risks, opportunities, and performance trendsAbout You:
Commercially minded with experience in FMCG, particularly across DTC and omnichannel salesProven track record of owning forecasting, reporting, and financial models in a fast-paced environmentConfident building and analysing performance data in Excel/Google SheetsFamiliar with margin dynamics across DTC platforms, Amazon, and retail/wholesale channelsAble to work closely with marketing, operations, finance—and particularly sales—to align on business prioritiesComfortable making data-driven recommendations that drive margin, growth, and operational efficiencyComfortable operating as an individual contributor, managing your own workload without direct team supportWhy This Role?
