About the Role Lead mechanical design and product development projects from concept through to manufacture Take ownership of engineering projects, making key technical decisions and contributing to design reviews Design with manufacturability, cost, thermal efficiency, and serviceability in mind Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure designs meet technical, commercial and delivery requirements Carry out structural and thermal assessments to validate product performance and compliance with environmental requirements Build, modify and test prototypes to support product validation and development Produce 3D CAD models, technical drawings and bills of materials using SolidWorks and PDM systems Mentor and support junior engineers within the team Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering proce
