Randstad Student Support are recruiting for Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Workers to work with autistic students studying at Universities and/or Colleges in ABERDEENThe role is set to begin at the start of the new academic year (from 1st September 2026) and is a hybrid role. All successful candidates must be able to travel to the local University or college and offer both in person and online sessions flexibly to meet student preferences.As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you will provide learning support and academic guidance. This includes creating an individual learning plan that has been tailored to the student''s needs and encourages them to become an independent learner.As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you are required to support students to:Develop independenceBuild on strengths and learning strategiesCreate strategies around organisation and time managementCreate action plans to stay on track with studiesBuild on research skills - widening knowledge by using a variety of sourcesDistinguish appropriate sources and how to correctly use referencesBuild on comprehension skills within reading and writingWhilst working for Randstad the needs of individual students should be taken into consideration case by case and you should ensure that any concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
