Management Accountant - part Time, 3 days a week, Salary Negotiable. East Anglia Care Homes Ltd operated two care homes in Norfolk, Halvergate House in North Walsham and Sutherlands in Wymondham. It has a fully integrated accounting system . Its accounting software is Pegasus Opera. This is a new position. We are seeking a Management Accountant to take responsibility for the accounting function. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts Prepare annual budgets and investigate variances between budgets and actual. Take responsibility for the day to day accounting function to include payroll, purchases, sales, cashbook, credit control and reconciliations. Liaise with external auditors when applicable Develop relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors and HM Revenue and Customs. Maintain good working relationship with colleagues at both care homes. Monthly report to directors on performance Ensuring the financial function operates efficently. Skills and qualifications: Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or AAT.) 2-4 years'' experience in a management accountant role
