This role involves assessing and reporting on properties that are currently unoccupied, ensuring they are ready for re-letting in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in property surveying and a keen eye for detail.Day-to-day of the role:Conduct thorough surveys of vacant properties to assess condition and identify necessary repairs or improvements.Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend actions to ensure properties meet the required standards for new tenants.Liaise with contractors and maintenance teams to coordinate repair works.Ensure all works are completed within set timeframes and budgets.Regularly update property status records and provide progress reports to management.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during property inspections.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Surveyor, ideally within the housing sector.Strong understanding of building maintenance, construction, and property management.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.Proficient in using property management software and tools.Experience in managing Voids Benefits:Competitive hourly rate.Flexible working hours.Opportunity to work across multiple locations in Welwyn and Hatfield.
