Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add an QC Inspector to their team on a permanent basis. You will be based in the south of Aberdeen.Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3pm, Friday 7am - 1pm (weekend overtime available)Hourly Rate: 18 - 21p/hour, 1.5x OT weekdays and 1st 4 hours on Saturday 2x thereafter, 2x SundayDaily Duties -Carry out First off, In-process, Final, and NDT inspections of machined products accuratelyReview documentation supplied with goods that require quality inspectionRaising non-conformance and inspection reports for internal and sub-contractor jobsSubmit all hardness, non-destructive and drift testing results to spreadsheetWitness pressure tests to verify equipment is being tested in accordance with the quality plan and customer requirementsCoordinate with internal departments to resolve product quality issuesLiaise with 3rd party inspectors and participate in internal and external audits as requiredCandidate Requirements -Time-served or HNC/HND level in relevant engineering subjectBackground within manufacturing or sub-contracting environment within Oil and Gas industry Experience of ISO9001, API Q1 and Q2Dye penetrant inspection level II or Magnetic particle inspection level II (Desirable)Driving Licence If you, or anyone you know would be suited to this role, please forward your up-to-date CV, salary expectations and notice period
