Field Service Engineer (Electrical Bias)UK-Based Travel RequiredSalary £35,000-£42,000We are working on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business to recruit a Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical bias. This is a varied and hands-on role combining installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and customer support, alongside involvement in machine build and development.This position offers a great balance between site-based work and field service, with opportunities to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of specialist machinery at customer sitesDiagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficientlyRespond to breakdowns within 24-48 hoursPerform planned maintenance and preventative servicingDeliver customer training on safe operation and basic maintenanceSupport in-house manufacturing activities, including wiring, control panel assembly, and machine build/testingAssist with development and troubleshooting of control systems, including some programming work where requiredTravel across the UK regularly, with occasional European travel (2-3 times per year)Role DetailsApproximately 50% site-based / 50% field-basedCandidates must be located within 1 hour of the company''s siteRegular UK travel with occasional international tripsRequirementsMinimum 2 years'' experience in a Field Service Engineer or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering roleStrong electrical b
