We’re retained by a leading UK personal-lines insurer to appoint a Head of Technology and Delivery to drive growth across Pet, Travel and Household (PaTH). You’ll be the senior technology partner to the business, shaping strategy and unblocking delivery at pace, with accountability for stable, secure services and measurable commercial outcomes. You’ll report to the IT Director and work closely with PaTH leadership in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment.

What you’ll lead

A clear technology, change and service roadmap aligned to growth and customer outcomes.

Delivery of a complex portfolio with value realisation, operational stability and regulatory compliance.

Evolution of the operating model and capabilities across engineering, delivery and service.

Coaching and influence across a large matrix of internal teams and partners.

About you

Head/Director-level leader with a track record of landing complex change in regulated environments (insurance/FS helpful).

Technically credible: able to challenge architecture choices (e.g., microservices/event-driven, cloud, CI/CD, data).

Commercial, outcome-driven, decisive; builds followership across business and technology.
