We have an opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our client on a contract basis to support the infrastructure drainage team. This is an opportunity to work outside IR35, 5 days a week with a requirement of visiting their London office 2 days a week.Responsibilities

Design foul and surface water drainage systems, earthworks, roads and pavement layoutsOwn your work on multi-disciplinary design projects — from concept to constructionLead packages of work and guide junior staff as you progressEnsure compliance with UK standards (CIRIA 753, Sewers for Scotland, Eurocodes, etc.)Qualifications

A degree/HNC/HND in Civil EngineeringThe ability to balance technical detail with project-wide thinkingIdeally you should have a minimum of 5 years UK experience in a design consultancyYou must have strong skills in MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage and experience in the use of Civils 3D and AutoCAD 2D/3DIt’s very important to have a strong understanding of S278, S104 and infrastructure agreements
