This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established team responsible for the asset management of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across Essex and parts of East Anglia. This role combines professional surveying expertise with operational leadership. You ll take full responsibility for a defined geographical area, overseeing building surveying, project delivery, statutory compliance, and maintenance management across approximately 90 sites. What You''ll Be Doing Acting as building custodian across your portfolio, ensuring all properties are maintained to be safe, legal, and fit for purpose. Managing an annual capex and revenue budget (circa £5m), ensuring best value and compliance with internal governance. Overseeing statutory inspections and regulatory compliance, liaising with authorities including EHO, Environment Agency, Fire Officers, and Planning and Building Control. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data across internal systems. Responding proactively to maintenance issues and managing key suppliers and contractors.
