This position involves maintaining and repairing a range of ground support equipment (GSE) to ensure smooth and safe airport operations. You''ll be working as part of a dedicated engineering team, delivering high-quality servicing and providing a best-in-class experience for business customers.Employment type: Full time, permanentVacancies: Approximately 5Base salary: 47,047.50 per annumLondon weighting: 500 per annumShifts: 4 on 4 off. Choose either 06:30 to 18:30 with 3,000 per annum shift allowance, or 11:30 to 23:30 with 3,500 per annum shift allowanceReporting to: Site Supervisor or Service ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesService, maintain, and repair a wide range of GSE equipment to required standardsCarry out vehicle mechanical and electrical PPM in line with scheduled plansComplete all service documentation and job cards accurately and on timeLiaise with internal stakeholders and support safe, efficient turnaround of equipmentWork in full compliance with health and safety legislation and company proceduresRequired Experience and QualificationsStrong HGV mechanical experience (essential)5 years checkable work history to obtain an airside passHGV Class 1 licenceCity and Guilds in motor mechanics engineering (or equivalent)Ability to pass CRC checks and obtain GSAT certification through in-house trainingPersonal AttributesSafety focused with high attention to detailCustomer oriented with clear, professional communicationSelf-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working on a
