This is a senior kitchen leadership role supporting the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and inspiring the team to reach and maintain excellent culinary standards.Youll bring creative flair and rosette-level cooking expertise to both day-to-day college service and bespoke internal functions, including conferences and large-scale events.Your key responsibilities will include:Leading daily food preparation and cooking to a consistently exceptional standardSupporting and coordinating kitchen operations in collaboration with the Head ChefMotivating the team and fostering creativity within the kitchenMaintaining impeccable standards in hygiene, food safety, and health and safety complianceAssisting with menu development, stock control, ordering, and allergen proceduresEnsuring seamless communication across catering teams and service departmentsWere looking for someone with:Extensive experience at Sous Chef level or above in a professional kitchenProven culinary and leadership skills, with solid attention to detailExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesFlexibility, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high standardsThis is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week), working 5 days out of 7 on a flexible rota. Occasional additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the venue.
