The Carton Club, one of St Jamess most prestigious private members clubs, is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Barman to join our Food and Beverage team. This is a busy and dynamic role where you will provide exceptional service to our Members and their guests.

Hours of work:* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday* 8-hour shifts, 4:00pm12:00am* No weekends or bank holidays

Desired Skills and Experience:* Proven experience in a similar role* In-depth knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, beers, and soft drinks* Good basic knowledge of classic cocktail techniques* You will be dealing with our Members and their guests and as such this position would require exceptional customer service and communication skills* Strong attention to detail and ability to work on your own and within a team* Willingness to do any aspects of the job* Flexible, friendly, and positive attitude

You will be responsible for:* Supporting the Head Barman, Deputy Head Barman and the rest of the team* Delivering an excellent service to our Members and their guest* Taking and serving food and beverage orders in a professional and polite manner* Processing orders through the Micros system and making sure they are served in a timely fashion* Preparing the tables and the bar for the service* Ensuring that the Bar and terrace are clean and tidy at all times* Assisting other outlets when required
