Space Planning Consultant

who has practical experience in Space Planning Solutions with Category Management experience considered a bonus. The main responsibilities will be to independently deliver software implementation projects through all the phases of a project lifecycle in the fields of Space, Assortment, Pricing and Promotion planning.A Space Planning Consultant is expected to master the customer-specific configurations needed to solve customer challenges and equip them with the most optimized system possible. Combining your experience with our software modules you will actively advise and guide the customer to deliver measurable value.Your role as a Space Planning Consultant would be typically working with German customers (although not guaranteed), ensuring customer business benefits are achieved by understanding their use cases and applying these to RELEX best practices in all areas. The role could be split between Space and Assortment customers and Price and Promotion customers, sometimes these are the same customer!This is an ideal role for an experienced Space Management individual who wants to expand their horizons, contribute to building a success story and play a key role in our future growth. You will be self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges. You will join an ambitious team of smart people who are all committed to RELEX’s success.What you’ll be doing:

Deliver customer projects independently using the RELEX project processUsing your experience, work closely with customers to understand their use casesSolve complex problems to fulfil the customer requirementsConfigure our platforms for customer-specific needsWork collaboratively with internal and customer teams to validate customer dataTrain customers and be the recognised subject matter expertWork closely with technical teams and project managersHands-on consulting and product expertise for new retail customers on space optimization and automation, and price and promotion campaign evaluation, forecasting, optimization, and automationWhat you’ll bring to the table:

An experienced Space PlannerFluent communication skills in both English and GermanA structured and analytical professionalAgile mindset and ability to adjust to a changing environmentCapability to interact confidently with customer teamsAbility to independently drive progress with a holistic mindsetA team player enjoying working with people from different backgroundsAbility to map customer requirements and translate those into software configurationComfortable with occasional travel across Europe and potentially globallyWhat we consider as an advantage:

M.Sc. or higherCategory Management experienceHave experience working as an Implementation Specialist, Business Consultant or similar in or towards the retail spaceStrong proven analytical and problem-solving skillsAre always service-minded with an ability to solve real and complex problemsProven ability to gather requirements, carry out process design, training, and user testing supportWhat we offer in return:
