This role is critical to ensuring we meet strict hygiene and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities: Carry out scheduled cleaning and deep cleaning of food production areas, including machinery, walls, floors, and surfaces. Follow cleaning schedules, procedures, and hygiene protocols in line with food safety standards (e.g., BRC, HACCP). Use industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment (e.g., foaming systems, pressure washers) safely and effectively. Dismantle, clean, and reassemble machinery as required. Accurately complete cleaning records and documentation. Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure hygiene compliance. Identify and report any hygiene or maintenance issues promptly. Adhere strictly to health and safety and food hygiene regulations at all times, including the use of appropriate PPE.
