Duties for the Sewing Machinist: Accurately cutting textiles to plan. To feed garments or textile sections through the machines. To change machine settings for different jobs. Sewing textiles of different sizes and substrates. Skills Required for the Sewing Machinist: Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required. High level of organisation is vital. Must be a good team player with great communication skills. Flexible approach and ability to do overtime where required. Experience of using a sewing machine.
