Job Title: Mobile HGV Technician Location: London (Field Based) Salaries: £63,500 per annum + Van + Fuel Card Shift: Day Shift As the Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of PSVs.at various locations, ensuring they are in safe and optimal working condition. This role requires the technician to travel to client sites, service depots, or roadside locations to carry out repairs and diagnostics, using specialized tools and equipment. The technician must have a solid understanding of vehicle systems, a high level of technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving abilities to meet customer requirements effectively and efficiently. What you''ll do as the Mobile HGV Technician: Routine servicing, repair and maintenance of the PSV Fleet to highest DVSA standards Perform repairs on bus engines, brakes, electrical systems, air-conditioning, and other mechanical components. Ensure that all buses are in line with the manufacturer s maintenance guidelines Use diagnostic tools to assess engine performance, brakes, transmission, electrical systems, and other vital components. Travel to customer locations, depots, or road-side incidents for emergency repairs and technical support. Provide on-site services including breakdown recovery, diagnostics, and repairs.
