As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across a range of well-run schools throughout Ealing, including areas such as Northolt, Hanwell, Ealing Common, Acton, Southall, Greenford, and West Ealing.

This role is ideal for experienced teachers, ECTs, or overseas trained teachers looking for flexible work, better work-life balance, or the chance to experience a variety of school environments before committing to a long-term role.

Role Details

Role: Supply Primary Teacher - mainstream and independent schools
Start: Immediate / Ongoing
Contract: Flexible daily supply with opportunities for part-time, full-time, and long-term roles
Pay: -150 - -170 per day (PAYE)
Long-term roles paid to scale (-180 - -260+ depending on experience)

The Role

As a supply teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
• Maintain classroom routines and behaviour expectations
• Adapt quickly to different school environments
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
• Provide feedback at the end of the school day
• Represent Tradewind professionally in all schools

There is no requirement for long-term planning or meetings in daily supply roles.

• Confident delivering lessons across the primary phase
• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Positive attitude and willingness to work in different schools
• Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and supporting pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised overseas teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools (placements accepted for ECTs)
• Strong safeguarding awareness
• Availability for at least 1 day per week

• West Ealing

Many schools are easily accessible via the Elizabeth Line, Central Line, and Piccadilly Line, as well as local bus routes. Some also offer on-site parking.
