This is a fantastic opportunity supporting designing, developing, and implementing new or revised processes for assembling component parts and sub-assemblies required for a finished productKey Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer: Application of Lean Manufacturing and Design principles. Feasibility of all designs to suit manufacturing build requirements - Design for Assembly (DFA). Build process strategy for manufacturing. Planning, developing and implementation of all written Processes for manufacturing. Planning, developing and implementation of all tooling, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing. Process Capability of all processes and equipment, including Dimensional Management applications. Quality Planning and Analysis for Manufacturing. Ensure adherence to Integrated Production System (IPS) deliverables. Support virtual build events. Support physical builds at Assembly Plant locations. Developing system logic for lineside equipment.Skills and Experience required for the Manufacturing Engineer position: Degree qualified in a relevant subject matter or equivalent experience. Experience of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques. Experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving. R
