A global manufacturer of precision metal components to the Automotive, Aerospace & High Technology sectors has a new vacancy for a Project Manager to join the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex NPI projects, excellent organizational skills and will have worked in a fast-paced complex manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, defence, energy, etc).

The Role

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Work with customers to ensure products meet with expectations and delivery times.

Develop and track to full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and key stakeholders.

Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Ensure quality standards and business requirements are met

Manage budgets and ensure efficient use of resources

The Candidate

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.

Worked in a fast paced highly regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, defence, etc).

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressured environment.
