Job Summary: Field Service Engineer Location:Glasgow/Edinburgh/North England I am looking for a highly skilled field service engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, testing, commissioning and repair of smoke damper control systems within HVAC and fire safety systems. This role is critical to ensuring smoke dampers function properly during fire emergencies, providing the highest level of safety for building occupants and assets. T Working hours: Monday-Friday 08.00am-16.30pm Key Responsibilities: Field Service Engineer Perform regular inspections, testing, commissioning and servicing of smoke damper control systems, ensuring they are in compliance with fire safety standards and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve faults with smoke damper control panels, actuators, and associated electrical components. Carry out calibrations and adjustments of smoke damper control systems to ensure proper operation during fire emergencies. Commission and service smoke damper control systems as part of new HVAC and fire safety installations. Maintain and repair smoke damper control circuits and wiring, ensuring safe and reliable operations. Diagnose, repair, and replace components of smoke damper control systems, including sensors, actuators, and control panels.
