Collaborate with senior leadership to define the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the company’s business goalsLead, inspire, and grow talented Software, Data and Machine Learning teamsEnsure the scalability, security, reliability and cost efficiency of our technology infrastructureLead on technical architecture and design ensuring that it is scalable, flexible, and robustFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Technology teamTake a hands-on approach to project management. Drive agile methodologies and best practices to optimize product development processes and increase efficiencyYou should be passionate about building software products as well as being deeply curious about energy and the energy transition. While we are a rapidly growing tech startup, we are also a non-profit, so a high level of adaptability and willingness to approach challenges with creativity and curiosity is essentialMinimum of 10 years of experience in technology and software with proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP Engineering, or similar).Expertise in data strategies, tooling and architectures.Experience developing and productionising machine learning and data science workloads.Proven track record of successfully building and launching products in a fast-paced, agile environment.Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including agile/scrum, and experience working with cross-functional teams of engineers and product managers.Familiarity with electricity markets, policy, modelling approaches and modelling software.
