Role Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Shoeburyness Duration: 31st October 2025 Clearance required: BPSS Eligible Rate of Pay: £13ph ResponsibilitiesDelivery of FM grounds maintenance services, ensuring the key first and last impressions on the site.Provide grounds maintenance services and be the support between the Grounds Lead and the grounds teamDeliver specialist grounds services; including attention to pest andamp; tree hazardsMaintain knowledge/awareness of grounds/land legislative, standards andamp; technical requirements andamp; developmentsPrioritisation of work programme to satisfy business needsForm part of the on call rota during periods of inclement weather; supporting site preparations andamp; response to enable ongoing safe access/use of premisesEnsure robust application of health, safety andamp; environmental procedures andamp; processesEnsure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level and keeping site compliantOversee the conduct of contractors on site; monitoring the implementation andamp; performance of tasks allocatedIdentify andamp; ensure all key assets are available and appropriately maintained; making recommendations on improvements andamp; additional requirements to FM/Business leads, as appropriate RequirementsStrimming/Gardening experienceAbility to carry load and work outdoors
