You will support teachers and students across a range of DT specialisms, ensuring lessons run smoothly and safely.Key Responsibilities:Preparing, maintaining, and organising materials, tools, and equipment for practical lessonsProviding technical support during lessons, including assisting students with machinery and practical tasksMaintaining a safe working environment and ensuring all equipment complies with health and safety regulationsCarrying out routine maintenance and basic repairs on tools and machineryHelping to manage stock levels, ordering supplies when neededSupporting departmental displays, projects, and extracurricular activitiesThe Ideal Candidate:Experience working in a school DT department or workshop environment (preferred)Practical skills across areas such as woodworking, metalwork, electronics, or CAD/CAMGood understanding of health and safety proceduresStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA proactive, hands-on approach and a willingness to lear
