Behaviour Support Worker
Empowering Learning are working with a Secondary Special Needs School in Castleford who are seeking Behaviour Support Workers/Sport Coaches to support in their classrooms on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. These roles are to start after the May Half Term and are temp to perm for the right candidate.Pay: 100- 110 a day Monday to Friday school hours 8.30 - 3.30pmThe school caters for Primary and Secondary pupils supporting Children with Autism and Challenging Behaviours and communication needs. You will be involved in classroom duties and off-site recreational activities. Duties - Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism.- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.- Help students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.- Support students in their academic and social development.- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
