We are currently looking to onboard a Commercial Manager to work on the design and build of a new substation in Suffolk. The project forms a vital part of Britain''s transition to renewable energy and Net Zero.

The project involves carrying out significant earth moving operations on the site, new roads and road junctions, reinforced concrete works and steel framed superstructures housing the next generation of equipment to deliver balanced renewable power .

We are looking for a strong Commercial candidate a background in managing commercial activities on major infrastructure projects & Experience working on NEC Contracts .

Duties

• Leadership: Lead project commercial start-up and line manage a team of Quantity Surveyors.

• Procurement: Oversee the full tender process-from work package prep to final award-ensuring supply chain efficiency and VINCI policy compliance.

• Financial Control: Drive CVR reporting, cash flow management (valuations/invoicing), and accurate financial forecasting.

• Commercial Strategy: Lead client negotiations, settle final accounts, and manage variations, claims, and disputes.

• Risk & Value: Proactively manage project risks/opportunities and optimize plant and equipment efficiency.
