We are recruiting on behalf of our Client an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver with valid Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance forklift licences to join a busy and well-established distribution warehouse in Newbury.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately
• Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely
• Goods in / goods out processing within a busy warehouse environment
• Labelling, scanning, and updating warehouse management systems
• Identifying and reporting damaged or missing stock
• Maintaining health & safety standards in the warehouse
• Supporting general warehouse duties and logistics operations

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Worker / Picker Packer
• Valid Reach Truck Forklift Licence and/or Counterbalance Forklift Licence 
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and forklift trucks
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and stock control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution / logistics environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in order picking
• Team player with a reliable and hardworking attitude

Desirable Skills

• PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) licence
• Experience in logistics, distribution, or fulfilment centres
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
