HGV Technician salary: £46,800
Location: Northampton
Shift Pattern: 24 hour operation, all shift patterns available, early, mid lates and nights
Benefits: Overtime paid at time and a half and double, overtime and breakdown call out available

I am currently working alongside a flagship dealership based in the Northampton Area who are a market leader within the commercial vehicle industry. This is a well-established company, that are forward thinking and put a real emphasis on personal development.
What does the role involve?
·Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
·Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
·Ensure necessary paperwork is completed to the required standard and in a timely manner
·Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and ensure all health and safety and environmental processes are adhered to
·Provide cover on rota system for breakdown cover (optional)
·Support and mentor our apprentices.
·Complete work directed by the Shift Supervisor, Workshop Controller or Dealer Point Manager.
 
To be successful in the HGV Technician role you will need:
·Level 3 or equivalent qualification in HGV/LCV Mechanics
·HGV, PSV or LCV Technician experience
·Full UK Driving Licence preferable
·Reliable and Punctual
