Key Responsibilities
Support the Procurement and Senior Procurement Manager in delivering procurement strategies aligned with business priorities.
Conduct spend analysis and market research to inform category and sourcing strategies.
Lead or assist in strategic sourcing projects, including preparing tenders, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
Assist in implementing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks to maintain effective supplier relationships.
Monitor supplier performance against service levels and contractual terms, identifying opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with organisational policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and operations to ensure procurement strategies align with business goals.
Support the delivery of key procurement transformation projects, tracking milestones and communicating outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
A proactive, curious mindset with the tenacity to achieve results.
Experience in procurement or supply chain management, with exposure to category management or strategic sourcing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Technical proficiency, including advanced Excel skills; experience with procurement systems, ERP platforms, or data visualisation tools such as Power BI would be advantageous.
Experience in indirect procurement or IT procurement.
A degree in procurement, supply chain, business, or a related field is desirable.

Salary £35,000 per annum
Hybrid role, with the expectations of three days a week in the office (Hatfield)
Annual leave from 23 days rising with length of service, and the option to purchase up to 5 extra days.
