Sales Engineer (Treasury)

Role overviewWe’re looking for a skilled
Sales Engineer
to join this forward-thinking fintech team. You’ll be the technical expert working closely with the sales function, helping prospective clients understand how the platform can meet their needs. You’ll deliver tailored demos, translate business requirements into solutions, and work with internal teams to shape proof-of-concepts and client proposals. This is a highly collaborative role, sitting at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the sales team to uncover client challenges and map them to product solutions.
Lead engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations for stakeholders in finance, treasury, and IT.
Act as a subject matter expert on the platform’s treasury modules (e.g., cash forecasting, liquidity management, bank connectivity, and risk management).
Translate client requirements into detailed solution designs and proposals.
Liaise with Product and Engineering to address client feedback and influence the roadmap.
Support RFP/RFI responses, create solution documentation, and design POCs.
Gather market insights to help guide product innovation.
Contribute to smooth onboarding and initial client configuration.
Keep up to date with trends in corporate treasury, banking APIs, and regulatory changes.
QualificationsMust-have:
3–7 years’ experience in Presales, Solutions Consulting, or Treasury roles within fintech, banking, or SaaS.
Solid understanding of corporate treasury processes and workflows.
Hands-on knowledge of treasury systems, cash forecasting, liquidity management, bank connectivity (e.g., SWIFT, APIs), and financial risk management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with demo or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Postman, Tableau, or similar).
Prior experience with a Treasury Management System.
Finance or accounting background (CFA, CTP, or similar certifications are a plus).
