Stafford is ideally suited for research and advanced manufacturing with our highly skilled staff and position at the heart of the UK''s transport network. GE is proud to be the largest employer in Stafford, with around 1,700 employees across multiple sites. The transformer facility has been renowned all over the world with its expertise in design, manufacturing, and delivery of HVAC and HVDC transformers world-wide, up to 800kV.
