As a

Senior Commercial Finance Manager

within our Gaming Ads Finance team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial planning and decision-making that underpins King, Xbox, and Microsoft Casual Gaming. This maternity cover FTC role offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business, drive forecasting and planning processes, and deliver actionable insights that influence strategy in a fast-paced, digital advertising environment. You’ll bring both strong technical finance expertise and a collaborative, business-partnering approach to help us optimise performance and support the continued growth of our gaming ecosystem.Responsibilities

Lead the annual and quarterly forecast processes in collaboration with our Planning and Reporting teamBuild forecast processes involving business partners to produce accurate forecasts and support the team leaders in resource planning and trackingBuild financial templates to collect, review and discuss forecast submissionsMaster our financial systems to submit our forecasts and create regular and ad-hoc reportingDevelop an understanding of KPIs and business drivers to build, improve and maintain detailed revenue models for forecasting and weekly pacing processesProduce relevant and insightful annual operating plans, quarterly reforecasts and monthly reporting packs for executive reviewPartner with our Finance Operations team to ensure that our monthly, quarterly PandL is accurateOwn ABM’s Management PandL and produce reporting packs focused on variances to forecast and annual plans with a focus on actionable insightsPlay a key role in the delivery of the consolidated three-year Long Range PlanPartner with business counterparts to plan, forecast and ensure delivery against budgets. Influence long-term cost savings and efficienciesContinuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficienciesSupport and thought partnering on ad-hoc projects that arise in this fast paced, ever-changing industrySupport successful integration of ABM in the greater Microsoft Advertising/Xbox landscape; tasks include, but are not limited to:Enabling cross-selling in an easy way for our clients and advising on the legal, privacy, financial challengesEnsuring revenue is appropriately recognized for King vs other studios within MS GamingCreating cost allocation models to appropriately reflect what is serving King vs other studios within MS GamingQualifications

7+ years of experience in FPandA, commercial finance, accounting or related areaExperience in advertising preferredExtensive business and financial modeling experienceDemonstrate a high degree of self-management and initiative, as direct supervision will be minimal with leadership based in San FranciscoConfidence in voicing your opinions in an informed and critical manner to challenge the status quoStrong business partnering and collaboration skillsStrong user of Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell, and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with financial systems (Hyperion Planning) requiredExperience with TM1 Financial Systems desiredStrong finance, business acumen and general analytical skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAble to present complex issues in clear, simple language. Experience in presenting commercial and financial metrics to non-finance teams and key stakeholdersAbout King
