Dispatch Team Leader
PSM Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Dispatch Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of the busy dispatch department. The successful candidate will lead and support the dispatch team, ensuring delivery targets are achieved, quality standards are maintained, and health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate and develop the dispatch team to achieve performance targets. Prioritise workloads and optimise resources to meet daily schedules. Ensure accurate stock control, booking of goods, and dispatch documentation. Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and narrow aisle reach trucks safely and effectively. Monitor quality standards and maintain excellent housekeeping within the dispatch area. Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety, and environmental requirements. Work closely with production and other departments to achieve customer delivery targets. Requirements: Valid Fork Lift Truck Licence. Previous supervisory or team leader experience within a dispatch, warehouse, or logistics environment. Strong IT and numerical skills. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
