About the Role:

A thriving secondary school in Bedford is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join its strong and collaborative English department. The role involves teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that prepare students for GCSE success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons at KS3/KS4.
• Differentiate to meet the needs of SEN/EAL learners.
• Mark and assess in line with school policies.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as debate club or creative writing.

Requirements:

• QTS and secondary English teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of literature and language curriculum.
• Ability to inspire students to develop a love for reading and writing.
