Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant with proven payroll experience, to support the Payroll Manager with monthly payroll processing, payroll administration and handling any payroll queries. The Payroll position is to start ASAP and is a 9-month maternity cover contract.Salary: 29-32KDuration: 9 month fixed term contractHours: 9-5.30 Mon-FriLocation: Office based, Horsham - parking onsitePayroll Assistant duties:Processing starters and leaversCalculating and processing statutory payments Ensuring accurate tax, NI and pension deductionsSetting up and processing of paymentsSupporting with the monthly payroll processMaintaining payroll system accuracy and data integrityActing as a point of contact for payroll-related queriesSkills and experience required:Proven experience working in a similar payroll support -handling high-volume payrollStrong knowledge of HMRC legislation and payroll Good IT skills including Excel
