Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be supporting our client in the appointment of an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join their depot operation in Runcorn on a temporary basis for up to 3 months.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation, playing a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and timely transportation of goods, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
 
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods, operating within all legal and company requirements. Working a 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern, you will support the wider logistics function to ensure operational continuity.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 1 driving duties in line with planned schedules
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Adhere to all transport legislation, including drivers'' hours and tachograph regulations
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance at all times
• Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers and site personnel

What We''re Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Proven experience in a similar HGV driving role
• Strong understanding of transport compliance and safety standards
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
