They cater for weddings, functions and events, and stay busy right throughout the year.The ideal Sous Chef will have had experience in banqueting/weddings and functions, be confident managing multiple food outlets, and all the relevant paperwork and compliance documentation.They are looking for a Sous Chef that is enthusiastic and creative, who ideally has a Rosette level background, and experience in a high volume kitchen. As Sous Chef, you will be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that every aspect of the service runs smoothly, and in their absence take control of the kitchen. You must have a good working knowledge of every section of the kitchen and also have previous experience training junior chefs.
