Job Title: Multi Skilled Mechanically Biased Engineer Our client is seeking experienced multi skilled engineer to join the maintenance team at the University of Glasgow. The successful candidate will work within outlined SLA''s to ensure the upkeep of the University as required Responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and compliance of MandE plant, equipment, and fabric services across the site.Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations, maintenance, and repairs of site MandE systems. Oversee CAFM system performance and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001 and QHSE standards. Supervise specialist contractors and validate RAMS. Conduct audits, manage non-compliances, and support continuous improvement initiatives Support client requirements and handle out-of-hours operational queries.Skills and Experience: City and Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical discipline. Minimum 2 years in a similar role with strong MandE experience. Knowledge of BMS, CAFM systems, statutory compliance, and business-critical systems (e.g., UPS, comms rooms).
