We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join a specialist educational setting near Andover, starting in April 2025. This full-time, term-time role offers a deeply rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with autism and Asperger''s syndrome within a nurturing and structured school environment. The role continues through to July 2025, with potential for future opportunities.

This welcoming special needs school caters to pupils aged 4 to 16, all of whom are diagnosed with autism or Asperger''s. With a small cohort of around 100 students, the school is known for its individualised care, close teamwork, and a strong focus on personal development and independence. Key Responsibilities

  Provide personal care and hands-on support tailored to each student''s needs.

  Assist with daily routines, including mobility, feeding, and hygiene.

  Promote emotional and sensory regulation through understanding and structured approaches.

Requirements

• 
  

  Experience in a care or support role, ideally within a school, healthcare, or SEN setting.

  A solid understanding of autism and related sensory or behavioural
