Our client is a Top 10 civils and building UK wide contractor who are currently looking seeking to employ, an industry experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis, working on a flagship project in Bradford. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years + experience and be NEBOSH qualified.This is a site based role on a project in Bradford, however occasional travel to other sites in the area may be required.Generous packages available for the right candidate including company benefits. 60-65kReporting to the Group Health and Safety Manager, responsibilities to include: Carrying out site inspections / audits with photographic evidence and documented report Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are being adhered to Issuing HandS Templates to the internal team Monitor and report on site Accidents and incidents and report through internal procedures Support and advise on HandS Management and compliance Work with department managers to implement a HandS culture Promote a proactive HandS approach/attitude among employees and site staff Support the Managing Director in developing / improving a healthy Health and Safety culture. Experience Required: NEBOSH or IOSH qualified CSCS holder Degree Qualified Previous Construction Contractor experience is desirable Direct experience of working on site or supporting project related Health and Safety Experience of working directly for the main contractor on large multimillion pound projects
