Credit Controller - Temporary Contract for up to 12 Months Maternity Leave The Role Duties and Responsibilities: Checking customer s credit ratings and agreeing credit limits Setting up new customers and maintaining the accounts database regarding customer addresses and contact details, etc. Monitoring of customer balances against credit limits and co-ordinating with sales teams regarding customers exceeding their credit limits. Making regular reports to our credit insurance broker Managing customer accounts in the event of late or missed payments and where necessary stopping the supply of goods or undertaking legal action Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments Taking payments from customers over the telephone. Maintaining contact with customers to ensure invoices are clear for payment, issuing statements and follow up calls. Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices. Organising copy documents to be sent to customers. Negotiating re-payment plans Overseeing the posting and allocating of daily receipts to the accounting system The Person Qualities required of successful candidate include: Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail Ability to supervise and delegate elements of work to other staff Competence in Microsoft Office products preferable (Outlook, Excel, Word) Cal
