We employ more than 3,500 people across our London, Southampton, Cardiff and Manchester offices.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Treasury Assistant Manager to join our Treasury Back Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the settlements function, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the Treasury Back Office Manager in developing and implementing treasury strategies.Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the treasury back office, including cash management, bank account administration, and fixed income and derivative transaction processingEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as KYC and AML, and maintain accurate recordsAssist in the development and implementation of treasury strategies to manage risk and optimize cash flowSupport the Treasury Back Office Manager in forecasting cash flows and managing liquidityLiaise with internal stakeholders, such as accounting and legal teams, to ensure smooth communication and coordination of treasury activitiesTransformation - Provide ‘subject matter expertise'' in developing our treasury management systemManage relationships with banks and other financial institutionsProvide leadership, guidance and training to colleagues in the treasury back officeRequirements
Preferably ACT qualified (Certificate in Treasury) or similar qualificationAt least 5 years of experience in treasury operations, with a focus on back-office functionsStrong knowledge of cash management, fixed income, derivative administration, FX settlement and collateral managementKnowledge of SWIFT standards and treasury settlement and confirmation message typesProven experience in managing a team and providing guidance to other staffExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholdersGood collaboration skills and experience of system changes/transformation project exposureStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectivelyProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelBenefits
