We are currently recruiting Senior Healthcare Assistants/Senior Support Workers for ongoing work across Blackpool (FY1). We are recruiting staff on a temporary to permanent basis where you will be on a probation period for 12 weeks before you move across permanently. Role :- To provide individualised person centred support to people with learning disabilities living in their own homes; to enable them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible We require :- At least one year experience of supporting people with learning disabilities Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (We do not offer sponsorship) Ability to provide 2 references (one from current or most recent employer) Possession of NVQ or other relevant social care qualification Experience of supporting people with autistic spectrum disorders (Desirable) Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (Desirable) A clean valid driving licence and access to a car (Desirable) Hours :- Full time - 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly according to a rota and to include evenings, weekends and public holidays Salary :- Weekday: 14.90 per hour Night/Weekend: 15.25 per hour Next steps :- Apply and start your journey today!
