The Role

As Head of Sales, you will lead a small team of Area Sales Managers and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the sales function.

This role is all about strategy, growth, and leadership -not just maintaining the status quo. You will:

• Assess the current sales team and dynamics.
• Build a high-performing structure and strategy for growth.
• Mentor, coach, and empower your team to exceed their potential.
• Drive ambitious revenue growth, with the aim of doubling or tripling turnover within two years.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align commercial goals with wider business objectives.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you''ll combine strategic vision with day-to-day hands-on support for your team.

About You

We are looking for someone who will thrives in a start-up or scale-up environment - where pace, adaptability, and resourcefulness are key. You will bring:

• A background in electrical manufacturing or related B2B industries.
• A proven track record of leading and scaling sales teams.
• Strong experience in building and implementing sales strategies.
• The ability to inspire, mentor, and grow individuals into high-performing teams.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, able to roll up your sleeves when needed.
• A network or experience selling into electrical contractors, installers, councils, education, universities, and local authorities.
