Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Roomleader who is dedicated and enthusiastic to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our childcare facility, providing guidance and support to staff while fostering a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to effectively communicate with both staff and parents.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations within the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children.
• Manage staff schedules and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early childhood education.
• Encourage teamwork among staff to create a positive working atmosphere.

Skills

• Strong background in early childhood education or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a childcare setting.
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
• A drive to continuously improve practices within the nursery setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
