Acorn by Synergie is currently looking for a hands on Team Leader/Supervisor on a temp to perm basis to work for their client, a lovely family run FMCG business, based in Halebank in Widnes. The role has genuine opportunities for a permanent contract and job progression.The job role will include: Leading and motivating the team to achieve daily production targets Allocating tasks and ensuring smooth workflow throughout each shift Ensuring production targets and KPIs are met Monitoring product quality, ensuring hygiene standards, and enforcing safe working practises Providing hands on support and leadership to the team Ensuring the production area is clean, safe and well organisedThe entire shift works as a team so the supervisor will be involved in hands on production duties such as Machine-operating Line-feeding Quality-checking Packing General hygiene duties Completion of paperwork Awareness of product standards / specifications Conducting periodical inspections Cleandown of machines Applicants must have: Previous experience as a supervisor or team leader Proven ability to lead a team in a practical hands on setting Confidence handling production records, documentation and basic reporting Excellent communciation and organisational skills Background in food production, FMCG and a fast paced manufacturing environment A positive, can-do attitude Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health safety regulations Hours of work are Monday to Friday 3pm-10pmPay: starts at 12.80
